ndis support
Empowerment. Client-Centered. Fun.
At Adventure Functional Training, we help participants improve their fitness, boost their confidence, and increase their independence. Our sessions enhance physical capacity, making it easier to participate in daily tasks and engage with the world around you.

We offer personal training for NDIS participants who have personal training included in their plan. For those without personal training in their plan, we can provide support to engage in movement based activities within the community.

We are committed to collaborating with your support team to ensure we provide the best possible care and support. Our focus is on making small but impactful lifestyle changes that promote long-term health and well-being.

We always aim to make movement enjoyable, accessible, and empowering, no matter where you are on your journey.

FAQs
How do I know if I’m eligible for NDIS-funded personal training?
To be eligible for NDIS-funded personal training, it needs to be included under the Capacity Building Supports section of your NDIS plan. If you're unsure, chat with your NDIS planner or Support Coordinator to confirm if personal training is part of your plan.If it’s not, we can still work with you to create a personalised support plan via support worker funding to help you get moving and stay active.
Can I have a family member or carer present during my sessions?
Absolutely! We welcome family members or carers to join your sessions if that makes you feel more comfortable and supported. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll make sure everyone is on the same page for a great experience.
What are the costs for NDIS-funded personal training sessions?
We adhere to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2024-25 guide, with a rate of $64.92 per hour for personal training. This rate also applies to one-on-one sessions, travel, and NDIS-requested reports. Travel costs will be calulated on the location for where you want to hold your session.
What should I expect during my first session?
Your first session is all about getting to know you!
We’ll chat about your goals, abilities, and any specific needs you have. Then, we’ll ease into some light movement to assess your current fitness level and discuss what you’d like to achieve.
It’s a no-pressure, supportive environment where we focus on setting you up for success, plus, it’s a great chance to ask any questions and get comfortable with the process.
Can I change or cancel my sessions if needed?
Absolutely! Life happens, and we totally understand. You can change or cancel your sessions, but we kindly ask for at least 2 clear business days' notice so we can adjust our schedule accordingly. This aligns with the NDIS short-notice cancellation policy.
I don’t have funding for personal training in my plan, but I’d like support to engage in movement activities within my community. Can you help?
Yes. We can support you in getting involved with activities in your community, whether it’s helping you get familiar with your local gym, joining a fitness group, attending the local pool, going for a mountain bike ride, or even joining a running group. Whatever your interests or goals, we’re here to help you build confidence, create a routine, and enjoy moving in a way that works for you.
